What You Should Know About The Thai Elite Visa Before Applying

Have you heard about the Thailand Elite Visa?
After the Ministry of Tourism and Sports proposed the Thailand Privilege card project, the Thai government approved it.

This visa is the easiest to obtain in Thailand.

It’s so convenient!

You can apply for a visa for five to twenty years right away, without needing to fill out paperwork or visit an immigration office.

This visa is also underrated because people often ignore it after learning about the application fees.

Let’s now take a closer look to the Thailand Elite Visa. We will discuss the benefits, the packages that you can choose, the restrictions and the application fee.

Residence Program

The Thailand Elite Visa is a residence program that allows you to reside in Thailand for up to 20 years, without worrying about visa conditions, paperwork, extensions, or other issues.

The Thailand Elite Visa comes with many privileges including airport pick-up, privilege passport lanes and airport lounges, visa assistance, memberships to golf clubs, and discounts on various Thai services.

The Thailand Elite Visa is managed by the Thai Government. It aims to attract wealthy visitors, businessmen and investors to Thailand and allows expats to remain in Thailand for long-term.
It is for whom?

The Thailand Elite Visa is available to anyone who visits Thailand regularly or lives there, but does not want to deal directly with Thailand’s bureaucratic visa system.

Digital nomads don’t want visa runs, retirees don’t like to stress about the complicated regulations, and investors and business people needing to fly to Thailand multiple times per year.
Benefits

Let’s look at some of the benefits associated with the Thailand Elite Visa.
Stay for a Long Time

The best thing about the Thailand Elite Visa? You don’t have to worry about your visa anymore. The Thai Elite Visa allows you to stay in Thailand for up to five years without the need to go through border checks or repeatedly abuse tourist visas. This can lead later bans.

For long-term visitors, Thailand has very few visa options. Many people are denied visas by the Thai government because they don’t have the right visa.

This is especially true of digital nomads. These people have difficulty getting a visa. They don’t work for a company. They are not eligible for business visas. They are not eligible for the SMART Visa, which was originally intended to be a visa for digital nomads.

A third group of people are those who wish to retire in Thailand, but don’t meet the requirements for the retirement visa.

Another group, such as investors and business people, needs to visit Thailand frequently but find no visa options that are suitable.
Alternative State Quarantine Booking Assistance

All foreigners who travel to Thailand must book an alternate state quarantine in order to obtain a Certificate for Entry.

You will receive a list of alternative state quarantine (ASQ), including prices and partnered hospital addresses, through the Elite Visa program. They will book the ASQ for you if you tell them what ASQ location you prefer.

This is a great benefit, as it can be difficult to book ASQs by yourself. You will need to contact them individually via LINE or email as they are often booked quickly.
Visa Assistance

The Thailand Elite Visa also offers visa assistance, which can help you get out of Thailand’s bureaucratic system.

Thailand is a land full of paperwork. You will need at least five sets of documents from different organizations to complete your application, renew or extend your Visa.

Long-term visas usually require more.

You will need to go to the Thai Embassy or Immigration Office in the early morning, and spend at most half a day there.

Visa regulations are subject to frequent changes. You will need 800,000 baht to open a retirement visa. This is in addition to the requirement that you have health insurance.

The Elite Visa agent will only need a copy your passport. They will take care of everything.

You can then go to the Thai Embassy to get your Elite Visa.

You still have to visit the immigration office if you’re already in Thailand. You will be met by a visa agent, who will guide you through the privilege passport lane and take care of everything.

Instead of spending half a day in the immigration office, you should apply for your visa within 30 minutes.

You won’t have to worry about your visa once you have it. The regulations for the Elite Visa are very stable.

Elite Visa is a visa assistance benefit that allows people to apply for visas even if they are not eligible for long-term visas. They want to avoid the hassle of visa applications and long lines.

You will still need to report for Elite Visa within 90 days. You can also drop your passport in the agent’s office to have it handled by them.
Airport Services

The Thailand Elite Visa program includes airport services. The elite visa agent will pick you up at the airport and take you to immigration. This service is not available from any normal airport transfer service.

Access to the airport lounges is also available at both departure and arrival gates of Suvarnabhumi and Chiang Mai airports.
